There are two aspects to Land’s End: the visitor centre where most people arrive and the wider conservation site along the cliffs to the north and south.

The visitor centre has some special and exciting exhibitions both undercover and out of doors. These include the Last Labyrinth, an exciting multi-media presentation on Cornwall past and present, and the Relentless Sea, a ‘hand’s-on’ exhibition on the theme of humankind’s struggle against the sea. There is also a range of shops and places to eat here, including the new Longships Family Restaurant and Bar. For people wanting to stay for a while, there is the fully refurbished Land’s End Hotel.

New for 1998 are the Land’s End John O’Groats Hall of Fame, about the amazing people, and the even more amazing machines, that have made this classic end to end journey and Air Sea Rescue Alert! a motion picture experience filmed on loaction in the Atlantic.

On the wider conservation site attractions include the famous Land’s End signpost, the First and Last House and Greeb Farm with rare breed animals. There is a new Discovery Trail which will help you understand the wildlife and ecology of the area.

Every year there is a full programme of events at Land’s End. In 1998 the Green Arrows, Cornwall’s only land-bound aerobatics team, will regularly be giving their hilarious displays and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 28 July to 3 September there will be spectacular "Magic in the Skies" firework displays.
